Sneak Peek...

Sneak Peek into Caroline's room
I finished her first room decoration with:
1. 24" X 36" blank canvas
2. 9 pieces of paper
3. Uppercase sign of choice
4. Mod podge

Lucky for me Hobby Lobby always has great sales. I was able to get everything 1/2 price. I used my Cricket to create the different size circles. Then glued the circles down & put the uppercase stickers down. These are the colors we decided on for her room :
{Pink, green, &blue}
Mimi is making the sheets and blanket to match these colors. We are setting the crib up soon!

Paint Till You Faint

I love the Mud Room!! This place is the ultimate de-stresser, I get to be creative & make gifts at the same time. I can go with friends or sit there by myself but it always seems to do the trick. The first Friday of every month is dubbed Paint till you Faint. They keep the place open till midnight and give you 10% off every piece you create. On this PTYF Friday night Jacee painted a cupcake plate for a birthday gift. You can see the intense look and tongue hanging out as Jacee concentrates on her piece. Jaime made a Christmas present for her niece. She is an artiest and did amazing for her first time. I couldn't post any of my pictures because I haven't been able to give all my gifts yet. For my birthday I was given a gift certificate and I can't wait to use it this Friday (November 4th)! I think I'm going to make a piggy bank for Caroline's room and Christmas platter I have been wanting to make for awhile now.

22 Weeks

Size of Baby: 11 in the {size of a spaghetti squash.} 1 lb

The heart beat on the last visit: 156

Gender: Sweet Little Girl

Name: We have decided on....

Caroline Grace

We yelled "CAROLINE GRACE get in here!!" It sounds good... It has a nice ring.
Chris sings & whistles Neil Diamond "Sweet Caroline" to her all the time. I can feel her move like crazy when he does this. She already loves her dad.

What I Miss: Still running without walking- I can run about 10 minutes before I start walking. I have a good pilates video that I can do but it's not the same

Maternity Clothes: Love my Belly Band! This thing is amazing. It goes over my buttons and zippers so I don't have to try to attempt to button them up. I have a pair of black work pants that I wear over and over again because they are so comfortable.

Craving: Fruit- especially oranges- so good! also sour cherries

Movement: She is kicking like crazy now. After I eat, when I'm sitting still, and when Chris talks seems to set her off.

Symptoms: I got sick this week. I think it was the bananas but afterwards I felt good. It helps If I brush my teeth after I eat.

Best Moment of the Week: Spending the weekend with Mimi. She made Chris, Kelley and I her famous chicken fried steak, homemade gravy, twice baked potatoes, beans, rolls, & macaroni salad.

Week 21

Size of Baby: Baby girl P is 12.7 oz {the size of a small banana} 10.5 inches

Baby's Heartbeat on last visit:156- Today we went to the doctor for our October check. We had a great report from the ultrasound and blood test. She is very healthy!!

The nurse taking her heart beat today said she kept kicking the wand. She is like her dad - doesn't want anyone in her personal space.

Gender: Sweet Little Girl

Name: We have decided on....

Caroline

Chris sings & whistles Neil Diamond "Sweet Caroline" to her all the time.

What I Miss: Running without walking- I can run about 20 minutes before I start walking. I don't want to push myself so any little pain or stretch I use it as an excuse to slow down.

Maternity Clothes: Amy gave me the best present ever. A Belly Band! This thing is amazing. It goes over my buttons and zippers so I don't have to try to attempt to button them up. The first day I wore it I accidentally wore the tag showing on the back. Thank goodness someone stopped me before I really embarrassed myself

Movement: She has really taken it up a notch this week. I feel her the most in the morning when I'm sitting still.

Cravings: I read in my baby book that this last week her taste buds & swallowing are developing so I have tried to put lots of variety in my diet. I have been eating oranges everyday. They are so good!

Symptoms: On Saturday I had side pain or round ligament pain. Normal but very uncomfortable to say the least.

Best Moment of the Week: Chris did a wonderful job for my birthday. He took me to Las Brisas {a really good steak house}. I always love getting to hang out with him because he is so much fun. He is going to be an amazing dad.

Halfway There.... Living on a Prayer

Week 20

Size of Baby: Baby girl P is 10.6 oz {the size of a small cantaloupe} 6.5 inches

Baby's Heartbeat on last visit:153

Gender: Sweet Little Girl

Name: The jury is still out. We have narrowed it down. It stinks being in education because most names have a negative connotation.

What I Miss: Running without walking- I can run about 20 minutes before I start walking. I don't want to push myself so any little pain or stretch I use it as an excuse to slow down.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet but I really like wearing anything that does not touch my stomach. The picture shows how I have rigged my jeans to make them appropriate for school. Yes that is a rubber band...

Movement: I feel some kicking from the outside now. Chris felt her kicking for the first time last night. Most movement comes in the morning around 9:00 am.

Cravings: sour cherry candy, and all kinds of fruit especially oranges, with a little salt sprinkled to make a good combo between sweet & salty.

Symptoms: I am still having these weird nosebleeds.

Best moment of the week: My nephew came into the world!!! Stephanie had Lane Louis Hendricks. 10/10/11. I can't wait to meet him.

and it's a......

Sweet Little Girl

{so flexible}
When we first got in the ultrasound room our little girl was sleeping. She clearly had a hard day. The tech measured all the organs and everything looks very healthy. The tech had to wake her up and used the adjective "feisty" because she was moving all over the place. We couldn't get a good picture of her face because she wouldn't put her hand down.

Very crazy that I already love this little one so much!

Week 19

Size of Baby: Baby P is 8.5 oz {the size of a mango} 6.0 inches

Baby's Heartbeat on last visit: 155

Maternity Clothes: Not yet but I really like wearing anything that does not touch my stomach.

Gender: Will find out soon! Thursday at 4

Name: We have a boy name pick out but girl names…the jury is still out

Movement: I feel some kicking while I’m driving, not hard enough to feel on the outside.

What I Miss: My jeans!!! I choose not to wear my favorite jeans anymore because I am constantly buttoning and unbuttoning my pants at school. Kind of inappropriate in a school setting.

Cravings: sour cherry candy, and all kinds of fruit especially oranges, with a little salt sprinkled to make a good combo between sweet & salty.

Symptoms: I am having these weird nosebleeds. We have a humidifier, which has helped, but in Vegas it was too dry. Yesterday I was talking to a student and my nose started to gush out. Hard to be effective when I look like a 5 year old.

Best moment of the week: Having a great vacation with Chris, Vegas was amazing. We slept till 8am {10am Texas time}

&

Making dinner with Jacee:

1. Granny’s mash potatoes

2. Hamburgers

3. Snicker doodles
