Riding a Bike

Caroline got a new bike for Christmas. The new bike is shaped like her old balance bike so it made it an easy transition. On Tuesday it was finally really nice outside.  Daddy only had to hold the back of her bike for a few minutes and then she started peddling on her own.

She got the hang of it fast- I was having to run to keep up with her!  She has spent a few hours getting good at riding her new bike.

Part of Caroline getting a new bike meant passing down her balance down to Ali.

Dad had to help Ali too.

Trampoline park in the morning because it was cold.

More bike riding and playing outside because it was nice outside.

Santa Came!

Santa came to the Prather house!  Caroline and Ali must have been really good!

Ali found the markers and didn't want to open any of her presents.  Caroline happily opened everyones! She was really excited to give her dad his present. She saved for weeks to get her dad walkie talkies.  She has grand plans of her talking to her dad while she is sitting in her fort and he is in the living room.

"A house just like Leah's!!!" "Look at the elevator!!!"

a happy mess!

a princess Celestia blind bag!

About 10am we went to Nana's house for Christmas breakfast.  Chris has been waiting for his dog mush all year long! Caroline ate so many sausage balls! After breakfast the Prathers loaded up and went to my parent's house.

Playing wrapping paper game

This is my mom on one of those hoverboards of my cousin's son.

She is so awesome!

Opening presents with my parents.
My mom gave the best gift this year.  She had my Aunt Carrie make Dondi, Jacee, & myself a silky blanket.  This was such a cool gift because my mom and dad had a silk thick blanket my aunt made them when they got married and we ALL Loved it. We used that blanket for making forts, we did the gymnastics on it, snuggled into it while watching movies.  My mom was very sneaky and had been working on this all of 2016.  Now I have my own and I love that it is just like my parents. Very tricky mom!

More barbies. YES!
My parents got Caroline and Ali a puppet theater

It was hilarious when my dad got involved.

Caroline's new favorite game: Trouble!

We had the best Christmas!

Ali slept all the way home!

Prather Christmas Party

Friday we went and looked at Christmas light.  As a final stop we went to  Nana and Papaw's house.  Caroline got so excited talking about Christmas Eve over at Nana, Mimi and Papaw's house. All day today she has been dancing around the house ready to Party! Ali had a rough morning but started to feel a little better maybe because she heard Nana made sausage balls!

Nana, Papaw, Mimi and Kelley spoiled my kids.
Ali got her very own chair just like her sister.

"Ali's chair"
She opened it first so she would have a place to sit.  She then opened a few presents but really wanted to sing Jingle Bells into the Elf microphone over and over again.

Caroline was excited!!

She open a My Little Pony castle and wanted to build it immediately
Then she opened a barbie and wanted it out of the box.

She got a whole box of my little pony blind bags.  Her dream come true!

Sleeping bags from the Hendricks clan! These will be used for years to come!

Science Spec with dad

Also a  story about the Science Spectrum:  Caroline is very interested in Heaven and has been asking a ton of questions about it.  During one of the animal shows one of the Science Spectrum workers showed a stuffed beaver.  He asked if any of the kids had any questions about the dead stuff beaver.  Caroline raised her hand and asked if the beaver had accepted Jesus into it's heart.  The guy looked at her funny and tried to move on with they eat grass comment.  She then said, "I just  was wondering if the beaver went to heaven." Pretty intense for a 4 year old.
