14 weeks!

So today officially I am 14 weeks. The baby is about the size of my clinched fist. They grow up so fast!

I don't have any cravings but am able to eat which is wonderful! Lots of food aversions, this week I am sad to say I need to add chicken to that list. I didn't want to admit it to myself because I love chicken but it just sounds horrible. I also had to leave the browning of the meat to Chris when we ate spaghetti on Sunday night.

No weight gain but you can see a little baby bump.

Our next appointment is September 20th.

Tonight was open house. We had a great turn out this year. It sure makes for a long day but it was good. We had to order our staff shirts tonight. I'm not sure what size to get because it is only worn for one year. I picked a medium but i'm sure this was a wrong decision. I will have to use Amy's advise with the under shirt idea.

Successful

Successful First Week..................................Check
The first week back went surprisingly smooth. I actually knew what I was doing this time around. I looked up everyday and realized it was time to go. Levelland is an amazing school to work at. The middle school is top notch with a great staff. I love the administration, secretaries, teachers & support staff. The baby did great this week too and decided to corporate with my body .

Making it successfully into the 2nd trimester.................... Check
It is exhausting growing a baby. I'm stupidly getting up early to run because I have no energy at night & it's still 104 degrees when I get home at 6:30. Chris and I have been eating very easy things week. Beverly brought La Especial burritos Thursday.

Ate the best breakfast burritos......................................Check

La Especial burritos are famous for the fine people of Denver City. Beverly is amazing and brings us these little treasures from time to time. It couldn't have come at a better time because I was running out of easy things to cook. She usually brings 8.
I always get Potato Egg Cheese: 4 Pecs
Chris always gets Sausage Potato Egg Cheese: 4 SPecs
I can't say I always get to eat all of my Pecs but they are so good. We really appreciate her bringing those.

What a great week!!

12 weeks

I have gone 4 whole days without getting sick... I don't want to jinx myself but it has been amazing! On Friday, August 19th I went to the doctor and had lost 2 more pounds but hopefully now that food doesn't disgust me that will turn around.

Today we moved Kelley into the dorms at Texas Tech. Her roommate seems really nice. They both started rush this morning at 8:00am. She is going to have such a great time these next 4 years.
Tonight we were invited to Tech Knight with some friends. Tommy Tuberville was there to get us pumped up for the 2011 season. They served BBQ and peach pie. The peach pie was amazing and I will probably be sorry that my taste buds found that.

Leap Year Baby!
The heart beat is 170 and very strong. This jellybean is a squirmer, moving all over the place. I am defiantly in love!

"Morning" Sickness

The word "morning" sickness is a big joke. A man must have coined this phrase. I know it wasn't from a pregnant women. This cute little word has been on my mind for 24/7 since July 9th coming back from Eric's wedding.

Luckily I live with a man that is amazing and is so sweet to me. I am also thankful that I was not at school during this time because people would have noticed my little trips to the bathroom.

I have tried it all, B6, sea sick bands, changing my prenatal vitamin, changing the time I take the vitamin, Ginger ale, Ginger snap. I think time will be the only cure.

Yesterday was the first day I actually enjoyed eating a bean burrito from Rosa's- (with salsa and queso).

My first trimester I have been eating to live. For 26 years before this I have loved all kinds of seafood. I now can't even watch Red Lobster commercials, forget about walking through United's seafood department. I do want to apologize to the poor lady at Sam's who offered me Salmon... It wasn't pretty.

Our first appointment was August 5th (10 weeks) - All the blood work came back great- I haven't gained any weight but the nurse said that was ok.
