"Morning" Sickness

The word "morning" sickness is a big joke. A man must have coined this phrase. I know it wasn't from a pregnant women. This cute little word has been on my mind for 24/7 since July 9th coming back from Eric's wedding.

Luckily I live with a man that is amazing and is so sweet to me. I am also thankful that I was not at school during this time because people would have noticed my little trips to the bathroom.

I have tried it all, B6, sea sick bands, changing my prenatal vitamin, changing the time I take the vitamin, Ginger ale, Ginger snap. I think time will be the only cure.

Yesterday was the first day I actually enjoyed eating a bean burrito from Rosa's- (with salsa and queso).

My first trimester I have been eating to live. For 26 years before this I have loved all kinds of seafood. I now can't even watch Red Lobster commercials, forget about walking through United's seafood department. I do want to apologize to the poor lady at Sam's who offered me Salmon... It wasn't pretty.

Our first appointment was August 5th (10 weeks) - All the blood work came back great- I haven't gained any weight but the nurse said that was ok.

  1. Yay, I love reading your pregnancy stories!!! Now I know why you had "travel sickness" during our Colorado trip. Poor girl - you should have just told us you were tired and we could have taken naps all day!
