Las Vegas Vistors

My sister came to visit from Las Vegas last week. I finally got meet my adorable nephew Jaden Lee.  All I wanted to do was hold him and kiss his cute little checks. I missed her so much.

Jaden was about to crawl the whole week he was here. Ali watched him closely and started to get on her hands & knees too.

Early Morning with these two crazy kids.  On Monday morning I drove Dondi and Jaden to Andrews to hang out with my parents. Ali and Caroline got lots of cousin time.

Caroline got a blue raspberry snowcone from the Andrews stand.  Caroline asked the little high school girl that served us for her to sign our book.  She thought she was Jasmine from Aladdin.  It was cute.

Tuesday night Jaden stayed up with the big girls.  He stayed on Las Vegas time.

On Wednesday Caroline, Ali and I had to come back to Lubbock to get our new house together.  One picture I didn't get was Aunt Dondi and Caroline playing with the giant slinky down the basement stairs. Caroline is still talking about how fun that was.

Saturday The Davids came back to Lubbock -along with my parents to have family pictures done by Kelley. I'm so glad to have these pictures! We ate at Furrs afterward- 

On Saturday night my cousin Eric and his wife Jordan, came over for game night.  Dondi had a fun game on her phone called Heads Up.  The Ellen Show plays it.  There are tons of different categories.   We divided up into 2 teams.  There was a celebrity impression category and I was glad to have Chris on my team.  He is amazing at impressions.

The world feels right when Dondi is around.  I wished they lived closer but I can't wait for Thanksgiving to celebrate Jaden's birthday and love on my Las Vegas family.

Kelley took family pictures when Dondi, Kyle and Jaden were down from Vegas {more on that later} I LOVED how these pictures turned out.  Kelley is so talented. Here are a few of my favorite!

Ali is 6 months old

Today is Ali's half birthday! She is 6 months old today.  What I want to remember about this month:

She is in size 6 month clothes

Size 3 diapers 

Size 2 shoes (she only owns one pair)

She has such a silly personality and is always smiling.

She loves to be talked to and included in the conversation. She also "talks" all the time and lets out excited yells.

She LOVES her sister and watches her every move. Ali rolls everywhere she wants to go.  She has also started to get on her hands and knees (thanks to Jaden for showing her a new trick)  She also does this push up position that is pretty cute.

Sara showed me how to lower our little baby jumper so it has become Ali's favorite toy.

  Being home with momma has made her really like being held.  -Daycare is going to HATE me next week.  She still enjoys the baby bjorn.

She sleeps from 7:00 PM- 6:00 AM. She takes 2 naps a day- One in the morning and a long one in the afternoon.

When going to bed she likes to be in her sleep sack, have a paci and blanket in her hand.

She started eating solids this month and is a great eater.  We haven't found a food she doesn't like.  She drinks about 6oz every 3 to 4 hours.

She went swimming for the first with her cousin Jaden.  As long as the water is warm she is happy.  I can't believe she is half way to being a year old.

Nana and Papaw had a birthday lunch this afternoon.  Caroline enjoyed blowing out the candles.  Also this afternoon we went to the splash pad near our house.

There wasn't anyone there so we had the park to ourselves.
