Magic Kingdom

We celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday at the happiest place on earth. It was such a fun week with my whole family.  The crowds were low & the company was great  We stayed at my aunt and uncle's house.  Some Fun highlights from Thursday, September 26th:

Ali has been talking about spray fans forever Chris surprised both girls when we walked into the park.  Ali was so happy and kept all of us cool!

A couple of times we split up.  The thrill seekers went and rode  mine train, splash mountain and big thunder mountain.  While kids not tall enough or not wanting to ride the roller coasters went and did their own thing.

Ali's first time riding Haunted Mansion.  She actually really liked it!

In late afternoon Lolly and Grandad took every kid under 7 years old back to the house to swim and the bigger kids went over to Hollywood Studios

We went to the new Star Wars land and ate at the Brown Derby.  Serena Williams the famous tennis player was sitting only a few tables from us.  In Star wars we rode the new Millennium  Falcon ride. It was a lot of fun!  

We tried to ride all the bigger rides knowing that we wouldn't be able to get to them on Friday.

This is Jacee's "I will defeat you face" at toy story mania.  The competition was fierce but Chris beat us.  It was a great day!

Ali's sick week

Ali has been sick for 2 weeks.  We have had to take her to the doctor 3 times.

She caught a really bad virus and has been trying to sleep it off.

Words from Ali

Ali says and does really funny things.  Examples from the past few weeks.

Ali has started eating bran muffins in the morning to help move things a long through her body.  My mom makes really good bran muffins and I used her recipe EXACTLY as she does it.  Ali took one bite and said, " These are ok... Lolly's are better maybe you left out an ingredient?"   Ouch Ali!

I don't have a picture of this next one: just a funny picture of her sleeping.  We were at COSTCO shopping when Ali tried unsweet Almond milk from one of the sample carts.  She downed the whole thing and said, "Wow! That tastes like the yellow playdoh!"

The lady handing out the milk starting laughing really hard so did the others waiting to get some of the milk.

She started gymnastics on Tuesday and had a blast. She has been sleeping in her leotard at night for a week.  She is proud of this leotard because it is new.  She made a comment when we were going to get it: You mean no one else has used it? ( a testament to her wearing hand-me-downs) to be fair Caroline also wears a lot of hand me downs but by the time they get to Ali they are sometimes worn out.

Ali went to the urgent care Monday night.  Chris and I thought it was UTI but it turned out to be a chemical burn from a bath bomb. She and I got to hang out in a room with dinosaurs on the walls and were discharged around midnight.  

"Mom,  I made you a rocket- it looks good enough to go on the fireplace!"

The girls and I were running errands.  On the first stop I opened the door to get ALi out and she forgot her shoes! We were at Academy and I made her buy a pair of shoes.  Lucky for her the shoes she found were on clearance for $1.97.
