#Readysetpoe

This Saturday we celebrated Kelley and Dusty's wedding! We had a lot of fun this week leading up to the wedding.

Rehearsal Day:

At the Kent Hance Chapel practicing.

All the little cousins had a role in the wedding:
Caroline and Leah walked down the aisle together and took a white rose to Mimi and Nana.

Lane was the ring bearer

Ali and Lauren were the little flower girls

We took an opportunity to take family pictures before heading over to the rehearsal dinner

At 50 Yard Line for rehearsal dinner

What a crazy crew!

Lane and Lauren spent the night.  Lauren asked to go home at midnight but they had a great time until then.

Saturday:

Jacee came over to curl the little girls hair and spray glitter body mist.

About to go down the aisle.  Lauren taking her flower girl job serous by guarding her flowers.

Ali and Lauren went down the aisle.  They made it to the 2nd role of chairs and dumped all their flowers out and continued happily walking down

Kelley came down the aisle and Caroline shed a tear.   She said, "Kelley is so beautiful!"

Chris walked Mimi and Nana down the aisle

Love these people so much!

Hitting the dance floor right away

Ali and Caroline bumped heads early on.  Ali is sporting a little black eye and Caroline had a green bruise over her eye we spotted this morning.  In their defense about 2 weeks ago Chris and I  told them both "No one gets hurt until after Kelley's wedding!" So they didn't get hurt until after all the pictures and ceremony.

In the RSVP all Kelley and Dusty guest were able to request a song:
I requested: Deeper then a Holler by Randy Travis
Caroline requested: Greatest Showmen- This is the greatest show
Ali requested Happy and you know it.
2 out of 3 songs were played.

Everyone had a great time!

Ali fell asleep in the foyer around 10:00.  She partied hard!

Sending the happy couple out

Sunday:
We had to say good bye to the Hendricks family today.

It was a really fun week and a really fun wedding!!

First Day of School

The Prather household has a 1st grader and Pre-K3 in the same school.  Now that I am in the district Ali gets to go to school in a special pre-k program for 3 year olds that is just for teacher's kids.

Caroline has a great teacher this year.  On the night before school Caroline was up till 10:00 working on her addition facts.  She was so worried Ms. Flores was going to ask her a question she didn't know.

Ali had no problems walking into school and was even skipping at one point.  She loves "Big" school!

We took Caroline first because Ali's teacher wasn't there yet.

Dad getting Caroline settled in the first day of school.  Caroline stood at her desk completely paralyzed.  Chris gave her a hug and talked with her but she was really anxious about being there.

Ali waited for us to take her to class- legs crossed, pretending to burn her hand.

Ali sat at her table and started playing with play-doh.  She made herself really comfortable.

Both girls reported they had great first days!
Ali: loved lunch, recess, and the kitchen center
Caroline: Found out that the little girl that just moved in across the street was in her class!  She was so excited and got to go to art (her favorite) on the first day of school.

Chris also took care of me and sent me flowers and brought me a green tea in the afternoon.  It was a really nice surprise and helped me make it through the first day back.
