Skiing

For Presidents weekend we went skiing with My cousin and his fam & Dondi's family.  The kids had a great time! Th adults stayed up way to late laughing and having fun!

It was really foggy in town when we went to pick up coffee.  Once we drove up the mountain we could see the fog stretching as far as the eye could see

It's hard to see in the pictures- Once we got it above the clouds it was unbelievable!

I went shopping at a store near where Caroline has tennis lessons.  Ali likes to go because there is a whole booth full of beanie boos.  She can play for HOURS

Happy 12th Birthday Caroline

Happy 12th Birthday to Caroline.

For her birthday this year she wanted to go to the Escape Room and have a sleepover. She invited 5 friends and they had a really good time!

The girls sang Karaoke and played games. I didn't get very many pictures but the girls had a fun time.

Plays Tennis

Robotics (next year she is starting Robotic competitions)

Her favorite teacher this year is her science teacher: Mr. Reep and her Tennis Coach, Coach Murphy

Least favorite subject is Health

Favorite afters school activities:  Tennis & Youth Group at church, Volunteering with the toddlers  on Sunday. (she is always begging Chris and I to take her to the animal shelter to volunteer)

Favorite food: Tru Fru- raspberry,  Hamburger from Braums- Breakfast food

doesn't like spicy foods & is not an adventurous eater

Favorite Books and Movies:  She has been devouring book series and then watching the movies if available:

Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Divergent, The Book of Ember, Maze Runner & is in the middle of Twilight right now.

She likes to play chase, strategy game like Nerts & the Harry Potter game & she really enjoys Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Switch

More from this week:

Saturday night we got snow. Sunday we drove to Ali's volleyball tournament .  We got the game started (Ali got to be Captain) and made her first serve over and then the people in charge of the tournament cancelled the tournament because it wasn't suppose to stop snowing until the evening. 

One day of winter

Sunday night we made our way to the Superbowl party at Nana and Papaw.

We got a call from the district that said we had a late start for Monday morning.  Lucky us! We got to stay up and watch to the end of the game.

My granny's mom was 14 in this picture Her name was Dorthy Rawlings Hunt.  Her little brother LR.  I always called her little granny because she was 5 feet tall and never weighed more more then 100 lbs.
