Well Check

Both girls had their well-checks this week. Neither one had to get shots so this visit went smooth. 

Ali had to let "Kaylee kitty" also get checked up too.  That is why both are being weighed.

Everything the Doctor and nurse checked was healthy.

This Week:

At girl scouts this week our guest speaker was Evyn Lewis and her Chinchilla, Gus.  They both stole the show as we learned about how to take care of this really neat rodent.  

This particular badge we are earning has been really fun.  The girls really like it!

From Sunday school:  Both girls Sunday school teachers sent me pictures.

Monday Caroline had the day off from school so we went to see the movie, Peter Rabbit.

After the movie, I had to run into a store.  I turned around and found Caroline had helped herself to the dark red lipstick.

Also this week Caroline lost her 2nd tooth.  Her permanent tooth is already coming in.

The girls had a camp out on Caroline's floor last night.  I want them to always be friends. 

Love Bugs

My sweet love bugs were ready for their Valentine party. They were so excited to have received Valentines from their grandparents!

The girls both had candy and sweets.

  She has another friend, Emma, that she always talks about but wouldn't stay still enough to get a picture with.  I bet Ms. Amber has a hard time keeping up with: Ali, Ellie, and Emma.

Those plates were full of cookies, cupcake, popcorn, and grapes. The kids had fun but both said their tummies hurt around dinner time.

Earlier this week:

Caroline got a make-up chemistry set for her birthday. It really just made tinted chap-stick but she really liked measuring all the ingredient and making it.

Wearing her new shirt for her actual birthday at school.  After school, Chris and I took both girls to 50th street Caboose.  Caroline has been begging to go back since Ali's birthday.

Quick Ali story: Ali one morning on the way to school was telling a very elaborate story about "slunks".  I could not figure out what she was talking about.  Then she said something about them smelling and I realized she was saying skunks. She is so much fun!

Pip is normally not a lap cat but apparently needing some attention. 

Caroline is 6!

Six years ago today Caroline made Chris and I parents. What I want to remember about Caroline at this year:

Size 5T- XS

Shoe Size: 11 almost size 12

She has a great imagination and can transform into a cat, a baby a pony in an instant. She likes to play: crafts (color -create), ride her scooter/ bike, play school, hide and seek/ chase, card games skip bo, Uno and go fish.

Summer is her favorite season:  She loves to play outside and swim

She is so fun to go places with.  She seems to make friends everywhere we go. She is such a happy, funny kid & her dad and I love her so much!

100 days of school on Thursday

The lady taking her picture at the post office said she couldn't smile and and shock some keys at her right before she took the picture.  The picture turned out like she is guilty of something.  

Caroline and Ali's Joint Birthday Party

Sunday we had Caroline and Ali's joint unicorn birthday party.  The girls had a blast at Blazing Bouncer.

They had kids from school, church, girl scouts and the neighborhood all there to celebrate our kids.  Aunt Kelley took pictures and did an amazing job!

Each girl got their own birthday song: Ali loved everyone looking at her and singing "Happy Birthday".  Caroline did not!

What Ali did on Sunday right before her party:

Right before the party, I went to get Ali. I found her standing right by the potty.  She clearly went to the bathroom in her pants. I said, "Ali!  Oh no, you went potty in your pants!".

She said, "It's my birthday so I pooped in my pants." 

There is no reasoning with her
