My last graduation with Monterey.
I have loved working at Monterey for the past 6 years.  Starting in the fall I will be a Cooper Pirate.  Ali will be going to Caroline's school in the 3-year old program.  She is pumped to be going to big school!

We have gotten the pool out every day these last 2 weeks.  Ali will only swim with her goggles.
On Monday, Caroline joined other girls scouts in the area to put flags in the cemetery for memorial day.
What a neat opportunity

Caroline and I put out 50 flags.

Caroline has been participating in the library reading challenge.  She is really into it.  Yesterday she turned in her first log and got a free pizza and cinnamon sticks.  We decided to celebrate immediately

What a great start to summer!

Little Flower Girls

Caroline and Ali were asked to be flower girls at my cousin's wedding.  On Friday we drove to San Angelo to make it to the rehearsal.

The girls practicing walking down the aisle.

In the little lanterns the girls were carrying there was a little battery powered tea light and a bronze fairy.  Ali named her fairy Kaylee and Caroline named hers Doofus.

Doing cartwheels in the lobby waiting for the rehearsal dinner to start.

Caroline ate her weight in the BBQ Brown beans.  She thought they were so delicious!

Ali discovered cinnamon butter for her roll.  Yum!

After the dinner, we went back to the hotel and took the girls swimming. That night I was giving the girls a bath and the water would not turn off.  We had to call maintenance to come fix it.  They gave us free breakfast and a 4:00 check out!  Win!!

In the morning we ate breakfast and then went to Kid's Kingdom park.

The girls had a blast and we had the park all to our self for almost an hour.

Caroline used a push-up bar as a front flip bar

Working on her balance. We went back and swam again and then met my parents for lunch.

at 4:00 we headed over to the church

Playing UNO with my cousin's kids

Ali found this goldfish on the floor.  I was taking her picture when she found it.  I said, "put that away Ali.".  She said," I'll put it away."  and then ATE IT!!

Ready to walk down the aisle.  When it was their turn they did great and went straight to their spot on the floor. Taylor and Ben took their spot at the top of the stairs.  At that point the girls went to the side with dad. Caroline stood at the back of the church with my mom and when they kissed she said "gross!"

Ali sat with dad and I and did really good.

Taking pictures with the bride and groom.

It was a fun weekend!

Also, Caroline gave me this for Mother's day.
A couple of things:
1. I have not won a trophy since 7th grade
2.  not sure why she put watches tv "all the time" to my relaxing question
3. I only really own one necklace that I wear from Chris.

Muffins with Mom

I got to go with Ali to Muffins with Mom.  Ali made me a sweet bag with her handprints as flowers.  She filled it with some of her work from the past month. She was so excited to show me all the artwork!

She is such a fun kid!

It was hot when we got home from school so we broke out the pool and played for 2 hours. We ordered a pizza and didn't go inside until it was time for baths and beds.

We moved piano to Thursday afternoon right after Caroline's school, Girl Scout meetings are over for the semester and both girls will continue with gymnastics right after school but they are done by 5:00.  I feel like we are easing into summer.

Also earlier this week we went out to the Monterey ag farm.  Caroline loved the chicken coop. The chicks are a few weeks old and they were fast and hard to catch.

Ali caught one and then immediately put it down because it flapped violently because she didn't smooth its little wings down.  After that she wanted me to hold it and gently pet its head.

We also went and held baby goats.  This was Ali's favorite!  My phone died right after this picture so I didn't get any of her holding the goats. Ali has been begging to go back.  The ag teacher told me that there were a few new baby goats born it the last 2 days so we need to go back!
