Our last girl scout trip was really fun. The girls in our troop voted and decided to go spend the night at sea world and participate in the Sea World camp. As the leader I loved this experience. I just had to get the girls there and then the staff did the rest! On the way to Sea World my car got a flat tire right outside of Snyder. Luckily when we bought the car Chris had showed me where everything was so the other girl scout chaperone and I were able to change it. We were a few minutes late because of this but were able to jump right in.
Petting sharks
Abby sold cookies for our troop this spring and made enough for her and Dondi to go for free.

The Sea World staff took care of meals and back stage tours.
Ali was glad she brought this fan because it was hot!
Orca show was amazing!
We also saw a fireworks show at night.
After the fireworks show we got to sleep with the sharks.
We did a ton of activities and so most of the kids fell asleep fast. The adults slept on the floor too but it was a different experience for us.
Sunday morning we woke up and ate breakfast. One of the workers had rescued a baby armadillo named Pearl (it is illegal to have them as pets) so now pearl is part of the animal experience at Sea World.
Then we got to feed the Sea Lions.
Oh to be a Sea Lion at Sea World.
Then we got to touch sting rays
After the camp part was finished we put our bedding in the car and were able to spend the day riding rides. We saw and did most the animal experiences with the camp so we rode rides most of the day.
Ali and I tore up Sesame Street world.
Caroline, Abby, Devyn Kristen and Dondi went and did the big Roller Coasters
Half way through the day Abby came and rode with us.

It was a fun trip! Girl Scouts was really fun for both girls. We have gotten to see and experience some really neat things. Our troop has grown and is one of the largest troops in our area. This next year I am handing over the troop to a mom with younger kids. She is the technology teacher at my school so I know she will put tons of STEM experiences for the girls.
