Ali's 5th grade Yearbook photo:
Fifth grade is off to an exciting and action-packed start for Ali — a girl who's always on the move, full of energy, and creativity. From soccer fields to musical stages, and even tiny dollhouse scenes, Ali is jumping headfirst into a year that promises to be unforgettable!
Ali’s been lucky enough to attend a few Texas Tech soccer games, and even luckier to find her way onto the field with other grade school kids to high-five the players. It’s a memory-maker for sure — and a pretty cool way to spend an evening cheering on her Red Raiders.
Soccer Season Superstar ⚽️
Ali’s summer was full of soccer and sweet victories. Her summer league team made it to the championship—and they won! Throughout the season, Ali showed off her sharp instincts on the field, consistently leading the team in goals (most of them from quick rebounds!), but what she’s most proud of? She had the most assists out of everyone on her team — a true team player through and through.
Last weekend, she took that energy into a 5v5 tournament, where her team played five intense games and came away with 2nd place. They wrapped up just in time — right before a giant storm rolled in!

Musical Moments & Piano Beginnings 🎶
Music is becoming a big part of Ali’s life this year. She just started piano lessons with the school’s music teacher and is already tapping, humming, and singing her way through each day. Whether she's working on new songs or just creating her own rhythms, Ali’s love for music is everywhere — especially now that she’s landed a special role in the school musical!
Just this Friday, Ali found out she’ll be playing Squirt the turtle in the upcoming Finding Nemo Jr. performance! The whole 5th grade will preform at Spring Break and Ali can’t wait to bring her character to life.
Student Council
Adding to her growing list of achievements, Ali has officially made student council. The application and essay was tough this year. The student counsel sponsors told me her essay and application made them laugh so hard. I wasn't able to read it before she turned it in so no telling what was in that essay!
When she’s not on stage, on the field, or practicing piano, Ali has a brand-new creative hobby that’s quickly taken over her weekends — building doll furniture and room scenes! This past Sunday, she and Nana even made a tiny comforter for a doll bed Ali built herself — and yes, it turned out absolutely adorable.
Also this last week we both spilled our chai tea at almost the exact same time while walking into school and we took a picture to send to dad. In the picture you can't really see the two giant stained shirts but we both had to put on sweatshirts to cover up the tea.
