Quarantine Spring Break Week

The girls helped me come up with a schedule for a spring break spent at home and we all agreed on it.  The Prather family did our part and stayed home.  The school gym didn't officially close to staff until Thursday when they did a deep clean so we took advantage Saturday- Wednesday and went and played basketball and rode scooters while it was raining.

Change of Plans

The Prather's Spring Break plans have changed along with lots of other people around the  United States .  We decided Thursday before Spring Break to push it back our Disney World trip back a couple of months because of the Coronavirus.
The girls were disappointed but understood when we said we have to keep Mimi and baby Kaden safe.  We made a list of all the fun things we wanted to do the week of spring break and they were happy.

On Thursday afternoon I was really disappointed & cried.  I have loved working in an elementary but I was looking forward to the break and going to Disney with my family and just getting away for a while.  I did a terrible job hiding my feelings and although I acted like a brat, Chris  got me my favorite Chai Tea from J&B & gave me a hug and told me we could move it to a different time of the year. He was so compassionate & kind I knew it was going to be ok.

I'm glad we cancelled when we did because I got everything squared away for a November trip and then Disney world decided to close for 2 weeks.  The phones have been jammed for 4 days so I'm glad I called when I did.

Friday was crazy busy at school.  The school district decided not to close (As of right now) but we had to get things ready as if we were not coming back for 3 weeks.

So Spring Break has begun and it has already been a lot of fun! More Pictures to Come:

Here are my favorite Screen Shots for the Coronavirus.

Cookies!

The Last Week In February:
Cookie season is finally over!  Caroline met her cookie goal and I am SO glad to be done with cookies this year.

Caroline and her friend Devyn called themselves Peppermint Pattie and sold a lot of cookies at the booth.
