I took Caroline and 42 people camping this weekend. It was a lot of work but Caroline and I had a great time! Friday afternoon we headed to Rio Blanco Girl Scout Camp.
On the road to our cabin we saw an armadillo. I have never seen one alive and this little guy was hanging out -unfazed by our presences.
Here he is again
The cabin we used was two stories. The top story was ground level with a kitchen and large area for us to hang out. The basement had 32 bunk beds were we slept. Friday night we planned for the spring badges, sang TONS of silly songs {thanks to my mom and her endless playlist of silly songs} worked on knots and made bracelets. There was a burn ban in the area so we couldn't start a camp fire.

Birthday celebration:
Chris took me to see John Crist in Abilene. He was hilarious! The person that opened for him was really relatable making fun of raising kids and airplane rides his name was Dustin Nickerson. My favorite You Tube skit from John Crist is "Playing Guess Who in 2018" so funny!

This was a picture of my grandad Joe Bill Carter. My Cousin Jennifer had it.
Caroline had to get a tooth removed. Tuesday night she had a weird spot on her gum that was swelling. Wednesday I had the school nurse look at it and she said we needed to head to the dentist. X-rays determined that a piece of her back tooth broke off and lodged itself in her gum. The tooth had to be removed. There was a therapy dog named Kiko there and he hung out with her while she had her procedure. The whole thing took about an hour and Caroline was back to school before lunch. She doesn't like to miss Math and we made it back!
