Birthday Weekend

Caroline had a great birthday party with friends.  They all dressed up and were very excited about eating at Kobe a hibachi restaurant.

We went to Lolly and Grandad's house to celebrate January and February birthdays. It was my mom's actually birthday so she picked the game.  We played a murder mystery game.

For the game a rodeo clown was murdered and we had to figure out "who done it"

Caroline is 14

Happy 14th Birthday to Caroline.  We measured her on her birthday and she is 5'2"! We are now wearing the same shoe size.  8th grade has been a great year for her. 

Caroline Favorites:

1. Foods: Chili, Breakfast, Braum's Burgers (Plain and Dry)
2. Her family She loves her grandparents and wants to spend time with her cousins
3. Tennis and running She is doing both all the time.
4. Hanging out with her friends
5. At night she reads Diary of a Wimpy Kid to help her fall asleep. 
6. She likes to wear weird socks.  She does her own laundry and puts it up.  She just takes the clean socks, puts them in a pile in her drawer and grabs two random socks on the way the door.
7. Her and Ali at night still hang out and talk.
8. Her youth group leaders Whitney and Ashlynn
9. Her favorite Teacher this year is Ms. Shipley who teacher US history

Caroline Dislikes:

1. Early mornings (Probably because she stays up late talking with her sister)

2. Food mixing on the plate (Everything must stay separate) 

3. People messing with her friends (She is very loyal)

Her schedule is jammed packed with something everyday of the week.  Sports and Academics after school school until 7:00 and one day a week youth group until 8:30. Most of her friend group is on the tennis team.  

  Papaw has taken her to drive on several occasions and I let her take me to get milk and drive to Nana's house.   

She is pretty goofy and we love her quirky personality.

We have decided as a family that Caroline and Tonks act the same.  They both do things to make us laugh constantly and they both fall and trip constantly.  It is ironic that Caroline's middle name is Grace.

Caroline and I went dress shopping for 8th grade banquet.  This is one of the dresses that she didn't buy.   I will always see her as my little baby but it is reminder that she is growing up.  Dad and I just love her so much and can't believe God gave her to us to be her parents.
