Summer

Summer has been great around here. As June is coming to a close I'm relieved I still have a whole month with my precious girls.  We started the first Friday off of school with a short day trip to Roaring Springs with my Monterey buddies and our offspring.  We had a blast! The kids loved playing together.

We went on a short hike when we got there.  The water is spring fed and freezing cold it felt good after walking around. Caroline went off and played with the bigger girls. This is the first summer she hasn't been my shadow and wanted to play more independently with friends. The girls played mermaids, raced around the pool, and had a great time!

Ali rode around in the little raft and was perfectly content staying out of the cold water.

We have been swimming almost every day.  Sometimes we invited neighbors and friends and sometimes we just wanted about 30 minutes to cool off.

Caroline currently has her eye on a My Little Pony toy and has been helpful around the house to earn the money to get it.

We went to Critter-fest (Ali is working on the that "cheese" face).

Ali is our animal lover she ran around excited the whole 2 hours holding ducks, petting dogs and cats, seeing turtles and farm animals.

Caroline was more reserved and really just wanted to play in the kids museum part

We went in the museum part of the science spectrum when it started to get crowded 

We have been to the park (more then one)

The girls found a little frog that keeps coming out to say hello when we play with the water table

 Caroline has been helping dad around the house so Ali has been going with me running. She is a great running buddy.  

We have gone to our new trampoline park.  On certain days they have little kid jump time.  It is way less crowded and no bigger kids running over little kids

Last Day in Disney

Our last day in Disney was wonderful.  Jacee went to Universal for the day and sent lots of hilarious pictures about Harry Potter World. The Prathers started the day at a character breakfast.

Caroline gave lots of hugs. Ali was not as receptive and wanted Minnie, Goofy and Donald to stay away.  She did like the mickey waffle with strawberries.

Right after breakfast we took Caroline to Bippity Boppity Boutique.  A cute little place that turned Caroline into a princess. We brought our own dresses & Caroline decided she wanted to be Snow White.

I love my little sporty princess. 

We ate lunch in Cinderella's castle and got to meet lots of princesses.  

Little Cindy-Ali meets big Cinderella.  She liked the princesses better then the masked characters. The food was good and the company was better.

It was such a fun vacation.  Chris worked so hard to get us here and we really appreciated him getting us here.  Jacee was amazing & I love that she came with us.
