Soccer Saturday

Ali had an amazing soccer game on Saturday.  

As a parent it is so fun to watch your child excel at something they enjoy doing.   Caroline & Ali played one on one at the park for an hour the night before the game.  Chris and I watched it click for Ali. 

At the game Ali got in and immediately scored a goal.  She wanted to the ball and was having fun.

She score several goals in every quarter.

She was really coachable and pumped her teammates up.  

I always feel proud of Ali but it was fun to watch her dominate this game.

More from the weekend:

Caroline and Ali were invited to a skate party.  Caroline was hard to get a picture because she was zipping around and having fun with her friends.  She did an amazing job at including her sister and making her feel wanted.

Ali decided she is saving her money for a skateboard.

Friday we took Kona to the vet to establish care.  She did so good & is very healthy.  

The kids left a bean bag in the room we have Kona in. It is now the cat's bean bag.  

Potter Party

Happy Birthday to my baby sister Jacee.  

We threw a Harry Potter pool party for her. 

Honeydukes candy shop was a HUGE success with the kids and adults

I'm so glad all the family was able to hang out.  You are loved Jacee Pacee!

Welcome to the Family Kona Prather

The Prathers have a new Kitty.  The girls named her Kona.  The nicknames include: 

Coco

Konny

and Ali has been calling her coconut 

She is the most playful little girl.

We are happy to have a kitty back in our house.  We have left her in the playroom and probably will for a few more days until we know she will be able to find her litter box easily.

Grandad's Birthday

Happy 62nd Birthday to Grandad! 

Chris smoked ribs and everyone brought BBQ sides to celebrate my dad.

My cousin Jennifer was born on September 9th too so it was fun to celebrate her too.

Grandad got in on the fun.  Ali hit him hard to make sure he knew he was it. She ended up popping the bat she swung so hard.

I loved getting to celebrate with my family this weekend.

From this week:

Eating at Texas Road House.  They have the best rolls and honey butter.

Also this week Ali paid her pirate bucks to go and read to Caroline's class. 

This brave 6 year old strolled in Ms. Rampy's class and read one of her library books.

This weekend was the first soccer game of the season.  They are playing with bigger kids this year and had a tough loss.  Dominators played hard.  

Nana, Papaw, Kaden and Kelley came to cheer number 6 on.  She made some great plays and has somethings to work on.  Excited for another season.
