Official Animal Shelter Dog Bowl Washer

At the end of January Caroline's girl scout troop will be helping out at the Animal shelter. Caroline and I had to go through a special orientation for the troop. Although we fulfilled our obligation Caroline has asked to go everyday to help out.   We have gone a couple of times to wash dog bowls and pet kitties.

Caroline has the dog bowl washing down.

There is a special room we take each cat into and let them run around.  This little kitten is very playful.
During the animal shelter orientations  the officers told us to wash our hands and change clothes when got around our own pets.
Here is Pip warming herself by the fire.  We got her from the Plano animal shelter 13.5 years ago.

Wednesday night Caroline snuck up on Ali to scare her. Ali through her head back and busted Caroline in the mouth and chipped 3 teeth.

The good news is she chipped them pretty evenly.  The bad news is it left nerve ending exposed and it was painful to eat. I took her to the dentist Thursday morning where they were able to seal her teeth.

I was paying at the front with Caroline right next to me and all of sudden she passed out.  She fell straight back and hit her head hard. She felt groggy.  The dentist didn't give her any medicine so I knew it wasn't a weird reaction.  I think it was combination of not eating and being so nervous.  Chris was able to stay home with her the rest of day so she could rest.

Christmas parties:

Ali had a little Christmas song program before her party.    It was adorable.  Ms. Lovern is such a great teacher.  Ali has learned so much this semester!

Christmas break has begun!
We got to hold baby Kaden.  He is so precious!

Ali and I went this morning to J&Bs for my favorite Chi tea Latte.
