Our church hosted the first ever Jingle Jam Sunday night. Pre-K sang 2 Christmas songs at the very beginning. Ali stood right next the microphone and sang her heart out. A little 4 year old girl tried to sing into it too but there is video evidence of Ali pushing the little girl out of the way!

After the little kids sang The children's minister had a church wide game followed by K-5th on Stage to sing a song. Caroline sang and did all the motions. The message was about having Joy even when things don't go our way. As a family we were given several scenarios and we were asked to discuss how God would have us react to them and how you find joy even when things don't go our way. Things like "You open a gift and get socks." There was lots of great discussion with the girls about the Christmas season. This week for Advent we talked about Peace.
