Caroline has jumped into her 8th grade year with a full heart and fast feet. Her school year is already off to a colorful, competitive, and music-filled start — and it’s safe to say, she’s making the most of every moment. They have already taken school yearbook pictures:
Kicking Things Off with a Color Run 🌈
Caroline and I ran in a color run to support Team Luke Hope for Minds, a nonprofit that raises awareness and support for kids with brain injuries. I saw a lot of students from my school. Kids are always so baffled that go places other then school.
I made Caroline go into Starbucks after the race to get her treat. She told me, "This is so embarrassing!"
Cross Country Star in the Making 🏃♀️
With the school year barely underway, Caroline already hit the ground running — literally. She competed in her first cross country meet of 8th grade, and out of around 150 girls, she crossed the finish line in 12th place! A strong start to what looks to be a promising season ahead. Her determination and grit are already shining through.
She always has such a great cheering squad!
Her First Concert Experience 🎶
Caroline also had a major first this past week — her first-ever concert! She went with her friends Devyn and Lexi to see Hudson Westbrook perform live. The scene was packed with cowboy boots and country vibes, but Caroline made her own kind of statement, rocking her white high-top Converse instead.
Game, Set, Match — Victory on the Court 🎾
When she’s not running she is on the tennis court. Just last weekend, she brought home a win in a Level 6 tournament, Caroline won the championship against a girl she has been playing her whole tennis career and somewhat of a rivalry. She did a great job staying calm and really showed her skills!
Furry Friends and Feline Rewards 🐱
Between races and matches, Caroline finds a little extra joy at her tennis club — not just from the game, but from the resident cat and her kittens who roam the grounds. Originally brought in to help with the mice, these hardworking cats have found a special fan in Caroline, who always seeks them out for some well-earned scratches and affection. After all, everyone deserves a little love for their hard work — even the furry staff!
