Wedding Day Eve

Wedding weekend kicked off fast and furious.  Caroline and I went down Thursday to help get the Globe Theater in Odessa Texas ready for Dondi and Kyle's big day.  When we got there my mom was hanging lights in the reception hall with a couple of other people.  This was something a 13 month old could not do very well so  Caroline and I went and helped my aunt Sharon in the actual theater where the ceremony was.  Here is Caroline and Granddad playing a couple of numbers for us while we worked.
After my mom finished in the reception area, she took Caroline around and let her nap in the stroller. Everything came together really fast.  Dondi recruited lots of help. I loved meeting her friends from England. Jacee & I developed an English accent after this weekend. I think it makes me sound more intelligent.
Jacee, Caroline and I got to pick up Bernee {Dondi's wedding photographer from Canada} at the Midland airport.  She was really sweet and had never been to Texas before.  The very first thing she saw was a monster truck blasting a Luke Bryan country song. Nice!

When we go back we finished hanging the lights.  Thank goodness Caroline was there to help guide us.  She was very helpful. After all that work it was time to play.

The girl can play Peek-a-boo anywhere! After we were finished we went back to Andrews to meet Daddy at my parent's house.

Friday morning:  We got ready for all the wedding party to come eat lunch before heading out on a Texas adventure.  My dad got everything set up to go shot guns, & see and touch a rattlesnake.  Everyone had such a fun time!

Caroline loved her great granddad.  He was very sweet and played with her all afternoon.  Friday night we had the rehearsal & dinner at La Margarita.  The rehearsal was fast.  Caroline did great & loved being on the stage with the guitar and bongo box.

La Margarita was delicious.  There cheese enchiladas were very tasty.  Chris and I ate our weight in their chips and salsa.

On the ride home daddy stopped at Starbucks we let Caroline stretch her legs.
Lolly has a snack drawer at her house that is just the right the right height for Caroline.  She has cheerios that she can help herself to anytime she wants.  Nothing like a late night snack to finish off the day.
