At Caroline's 2 year well check her Doctor made Chris and I promise that she would be paci free by July of 2014. 6 month seemed like a reasonable timeframe so we agreed. Then July came and went. She only needed a pacifier to sleep at night so we didn't push the issue. Well now her 3 year check is coming up and we knew it was time. I really didn't want to lie to her doctor . We have been talking to Caroline about pacifiers are for babies & she is a big girl now. Chris made a deal with Caroline if she went all night without a pacifier he would let her pick out any toy from toys r us.
Wednesday night Caroline went all night without her pacifier! Chris and I made a huge deal out it! We took her to Toys R Us and said she could get a paci prize. She is really into coloring, play doh crafts right now. Out of all the toys she picked out Cake Mountain play doh set.
We have made about 1,000 little cakes. All the play doh is now mixed together. This little set has provided hours of entertainment since Thursday.
Ali helping the only way she knows how. Caroline is already telling her sister to NOT eat play doh- "It's just for pretend Ali!" "Don't ask to eat it."
Also I heard Caroline call Ali - "Alligator" which I thought was adorable.
This weekend Mimi came to meet Ali for the first time.
Also Jacee came over and brought Caroline and Ali some clothes and these adorable shoes.
