Gingerbread Cookies

Today Caroline decorated gingerbread cookies with our neighbor Elle. I used my Mom's delicious gingerbread recipe that she got from my grandmother. I gave both girls a tray full of sprinkles. They had a great time laughing and eating most of the sprinkles before they made it to a cookie.  I let the girls pick out what cookie cutter they wanted me to use.

Here are Caroline's cookies.  She picked the tree, candy cane, heart, boy, dog bone, Texas and horse cookie cutter which made me laugh.  I said I don't think a horse is very Christmas-y.  She assured me she would make it festive.

and she did!
so tasty!

When the girls were done we had a tea party.  I didn't get any good pictures. I was trying not to burn the cookies.
