This last weekend I took my girl scout troop for an overnight trip to Sea World. It was a girl scout event so we had the chance to to do all the touch tanks, feed many sea animals, and behind the scenes of Sea World and how it worked. The overnight part was spent sleeping in front of the massive shark tank. Caroline had an amazing time with her friends. They are a sweet group of girls and I have not had to deal with drama with this big group.
At Sea World:
Caroline rode rides with her really good friend Devyn.
Watching some of the shows
They got soaking wet!
a couple of adorable selfies I found on my phone
Feeding the Sea Lions
Touching the string rays and a bamboo shark
This is where we slept.
Listening to overnight rules
The shark in the background is smiling for the picture.
At night they turned off all the lights but let the aquarium say lit. It was so surreal watching those sharks never stop moving. We were not allowed to bring an air-mattress and my aching hip bones were testimony to being 34 and begging me not to make them sleep on the floor again.
A beluga whale photo-bombing from behind Caroline
Caroline found an enormous amount of rolly polly bugs.
What a fun trip!
Also from last week: We got to see my parents twice for dinner. What a treat!
