Carter Christmas

This year for a Carter Christmas we did a murder mystery party.  Everyone was assigned a character.  It was played in 3 rounds. There were only 12 character that came with the game so Caroline and I made up a few characters so everyone could play.

The party got started with round 1: everyone introduced themselves. Ali and Abby had to speak in an British accent and stayed in character the whole time! Round 2 we discovered that Mrs. Claus was found dead- everyone was given a reaction card to do when we discovered the body.  The snow Queen played by Jennifer was hilarious! Then everyone had to reveal at least one of the secrets on their game card to another player.   

My mom  danced around telling everyone that she didn't like Mrs. Claus but tried to get secrets from everyone. 

Rudolph threw everyone off her scent by blaming others . 

Buddy the elf ran around telling everyone that he thought it was scrooge and the grinch. 

frosty was hilarious he kept losing his hat 

Round 3 giving out officer Oh Deers eye witness reports and case files (Justin said this was against the law to give regular people the case file but no one made a citizen's arrest) 

Cousin Eddie

After all 3 rounds of talking with all the guests: everyone wrote down who they thought the killer was, & who they thought was the best actor. 

My vote was the grinch because he had to steal all the  Christmas decorations and talk to everyone and he managed to get all my mom's decoration down and in the guest bedroom without anyone questioning him. 

In the end it was discovered that Rudolph did it!

and the sugar Plum Fairy received best actress. 

After the game we ate and then did a gift exchange.  

My mom ended with the unicorn mask.  The best gift of the whole exchange. It was really fun.  Then the cousin's exchanged gifts. 

Ali got a really fun game from Jacee called Sushi Go.  It is a really fun strategy game that we have gotten into this Christmas. 

Ali also got her Claw machine - She was gone threw 2 sets of batteries playing with this thing.

It was a really fun day!
