Chris and I were able to check off a major bucket list trip and went to Tromso, Norway. We did research for several months last year looking for the best place to see the Northern lights. We decided on Tromso Norway & WOW!! did not disappoint!
The sun didn't rise when we were there. It was dusk from abut 10:00am- 2:00 pm
Other wise it was VERY dark
It is so hard to put into words watching the dark night turn green and then green light start to dance. It doesn't look real. It was such a fun adventure.
We took a small group tour. Our tour guide set up a small fire pit for roasting hotdogs, S'more and drank hot chocolate.
Just beautiful! Favorite memory from the night was while we were watching the lights dance. Our small group was so quite watching these magnificent lights and then all of sudden Chris whispered in my ear the "Avada Kedavra!" the killing curse from Harry Potter. I laughed so hard because the lights did remind me of Harry Potter and it was perfectly timed.
Another bucket list: German Christmas Market. We flew from Norway to Frankfurt Germany.
