Thursday night we rode on the The Polar Express. Stephanie warned me that I had get tickets early so mid-October I got on their website and purchased them. It was crazy that it was almost sold out then!
Caroline had a blast this year. We started reading the book on Monday and have been talking about it for a while now. Everything was magical. The minute we got on the train she started talking about the wolves. (in the book there is one page with wolves on it) "when we going to see the wolves daddy" "the wolves live in the forest mommy" "I don't see the mountains yet" Ha!
Her eyes got really big when she saw the cookie- It was as big as her face! We told her "2 hands when you drink your hot chocolate." So every time one of us would go to drink from our mugs she would remind us "2 hands"

Tickets please!
Caroline spotting the North Pole. She was LOUD! "Hi NORTH POLE Hi!" She couldn't believe we made it to see it.
Seeing Santa for the first time- From a distance she waved and screamed his name
This was her reaction when he got up close. At least it wasn't screaming like last year- She is slowly warming up to the idea of Santa. She asked Santa for a dolphin.... Not sure where that came from. She did get a little bell that rang out. After that cookie and hot chocolate she was dancing and singing the rest of the way home.
We got her picture from school yesterday too.

"You smell like beef and cheese, you don't smell like Santa."
ReplyDeleteThe Santa at school and the Polar Express look like the same Santa.... The true Santa??
