Serving

Caroline and I served at Lubbock Impact last night.  It is a great ministry opportunity for people of the neighborhood to receive a delicious meal every Wednesday night.  Normal attendance is about 200.  This semester our life group signed up for desserts.  Most of our group members have little kids or were out of town so we picked something easy that a few of us to do to help.

Caroline really enjoyed helping.  They put her to work.  She had to hand out tickets, put cherries in almost 200 coke floats then help hand out desserts to everyone.  Caroline and I talked beforehand about looking people in the eye, smiling and being polite.  She was such a hard worker and got lots of compliments on her rainbow dash socks.

Also her a Zoey got a hold of a box fan and entertained themselves for about 10 minutes.

They were singing and laughing so hard.

Afterward, Caroline and I went to a Texas Tech volleyball game. Tech lost but we had a great time.

Birthday weekend:

The Falcos came for the weekend.  The kids played so great this time around. Amy and I actually got to sit and talk to one another while the kids played outside and entertained themselves.

We celebrated Jack's birthday while they were down.

We always have the best time when they are down!
