Easter Weekend

I love 3 day weekends.  It's like a little taste of summer.  On Friday morning we went over to Nana, Mimi and Papaw's house to say bye to the Hendricks family. They gave Ali some cute spring jammies and Caroline got some fun chalk to play school with.  Caroline missed them as soon as they pulled away and has been asking when we are going to California next.

Ali got her first pair of shoes from Mimi in her Easter basket.

Caroline is teaching her class the letter "C".  Harper is in trouble and was sitting in time out.  Apparently she talks a lot in class. I started a load of laundry, went into  Ms. Caroline's class, came out to get something in the kitchen when I noticed water in the entry way.  The washing machine over flowed!!! I grabbed as many towels as I could and created a dam so it wouldn't ruin the living room floors. Poor Ali was in the baby bjorn getting jostled around while I cleaned up the water as fast as I could! The wood floor in the hallway was ruined.  Chris and Papaw ripped it up so it wouldn't spread to the office.

Chris and I spent the evening at Lowe's picking out a new washer and dryer. Chris and Papaw installed them on Saturday and everything is almost back to normal.  Pip the cat is scared to death of the new set. She sneaks past them to get her food with her fur raised the whole time.  She misses the old washer and dryer.

Saturday we dyed Easter eggs. Ali watched from my arms looking and smiling at her sister.  Caroline is not a fan of boiled eggs to eat so I have been making tuna fish sandwiches and eating boiled eggs for breakfast.

The Easter bunny came Sunday morning!

He brought the girls Mickey and Minnie with their name on it.

When we got home from church the Easter bunny hid eggs all over the backyard.  Ali fell asleep on the way home so she set on the sidelines.

We had a great weekend!

On Monday Ali had her 2 month check up/ shots.
She is 10 lbs- 25%
22.5 inches tall- 36%

She "talked" to the doctor and did great until she had to get shots. Chris held her and calmed her down.
Ali sporting bright red and yellow Band-Aids were she got shots. Great news she is healthy!
