Halloween

At the end of this month we had a lot of opportunities to wear costumes.  Ali had her Fall Festival Thursday and Caroline was happy to tag along with her sister for once.

Pinkie Pie having a great time.
I think everyone from her school came.  It was packed!  We waited in several lines to play games.  We didn't leave with much candy but got to jump and slide and had a great time!

On Friday Caroline woke up with red, itchy welts. Chris took her to the doctor and found out she was allergic to penicillin she was taking for her ear infection. Poor kid missed her Sock Hop dance during school's PE but got to spend the day with daddy.

She had a tough few days.  I had to talk to Chris's sister Stephanie more then once and she talked me off the ledge. I felt so helpless!

Sunday she started to feel better

and even felt good enough to paint pumpkins

and then blow bubbles

Sunday night was Fall festival at our church

Rainbow Dash in her full gear

Pinkie Pie knocking on Nana, Papaw and Mimi's door.

Trick or Treat

We didn't stay long.  Caroline's feet were pretty swollen and she wasn't feeling very good.  Ali was happy with her corndog and was ok with going early.

Monday afternoon we went to Kelley's work to trick or treat

Caroline decided she wanted to be Belle and Ali's pinkie outfit had blue sucker all over the front so she got to be a Texas Tech cheerleader.

Waiting to go trick or treating

We started out with just the four Prathers but ran into some neighbors and went with them.

Ali got the hang of Trick or Treating fast and got really excited about houses with suckers.  Caroline and her friend Ellie took the lead.

Watching Caroline this year was really fun.  She was so exciting going to every house and she was feeling great.

Happy Halloween!
