Ali said "Bye Bye" to diapers Wednesday. On Wednesday she only wore a t-shirt and we spent most of day outside in the backyard. She was drinking juice like crazy so she got lots of practice. She didn't make it to the potty on the first day but we stuck with it and tried again Thursday.
Thursday morning she woke up and yelled, "Mom! I have to go potty!! She had a few accidents but started getting the hang of it. After lunch I put shorts and underwear on her. She had one more accident because she couldn't get her shorts off fast enough.
We watched Elmo Potty Movie non-stop until Thursday afternoon then switched over to Daniel Tiger Potty episode because the little song in that one goes "If you have to go potty stop and go right away, flush and wash and be on your way." This seemed to help. She even had a dry pull-up on Friday morning.
On Friday morning I told Ali we would go Science Spectrum but she had to tell mom if she needed to go potty. Poor kid I nagged her the whole time we were there.
"Remind Mommy if you have to go potty."
I was annoying myself.....
First thing I took her to the bathroom and then we went and played. I brought extra clothes just in case. She told me once she needed to potty.
Then while in the grocery section playing she started to do the potty dance so I took her to the bathroom and she went. She didn't have an accident all morning.
so after nap we went swimming. She did great!!
She only had one accident on Friday! One more step out of being a baby....
