My Granny turned 80 yesterday. All my dad's family met at my parent's house. The girls love going to Lolly's and grandad's (gee-dad as Ali calls him) house.
Chris smoked ribs at our house- then toted to my parent's. The car smelt so good driving. I was starving by the time we got there. The diner started at 4:00. My dad smoked a brisket and he made a few hot dogs for his picky granddaughters. Dinner was delicious!
My Aunt Sharon made really good potato salad
My dad's cousin made fresh jalapeno rolls
My uncle Steve's family brought the cakes
My mom made poppers, beans and homemade ice cream
Ali got to pretend to drive my dad's new-to-him 1950 red truck. The horn was loud and really fun to honk!
Aunt Jacee got Caroline play-doh for her birthday so the girls played at the table after dinner
Granny brew out her candles
We celebrated my Uncle Steve (turned 60) and my Cousin Taylor (turned 21).
Cake time!
My Granny brought old photo albums
Stanley Dale the teenage years!
Also I look like my dad!
Also Ali saw a picture of me when I was 4 or 5 and she said pointed at the picture and said "Bear bear" (Her fun nick name for Caroline) Apparently Caroline looks like my dad too.
