16 months

Sitting still wasn't going to happen today so I got a picture by her chair. 

A couple of things I want to remember about her 16th month:

Notice the sassy orange necklace- She has recently started to wear jewelry or anything that resembles necklaces & bracelets.

She is still wearing size 3 diapers & 18 month clothes.  I have sadly packed away almost all her 12 month clothes. She is wearing size 3 and 4 shoes.

As of yesterday she has moved up to the Elephant room- In this room there is more structure.  They all eat & take naps at the same time.  They also get to play outside which Caroline is defiantly a fan! Ms. Christy & Ms. Brittany wrote Caroline a really sweet note:

 She is trying SOME different foods but doesn't stray far from her favorites.  I made a list for Nana & Lolly so they could start getting a game plan for what to feed her while Chris and I are gone.  There was more on the list on then I realized she liked.  2x a week at daycare she gets blueberry muffins.  These have become her new favorite on the cafeteria menu.

She has all 8 top/bottom teeth and has recently popped the back ones out.  I went to the dentist today and asked when I should bring her in.  He said that he typically sees kids starting at age 3.

Short side story- I bit the dental hygienist today & it wasn't a nibble either.  She had been asking me to bite down on that tube thing that sucks all the water out.  About 1/2 though she stopped telling me to bite down she just let left it in there and would bite down as needed. I mistook her finger for the white tube and chopped her finger HARD.  I was embarrassed but couldn't quit laughing

She is talking up a storm.  Her newest words are:

She now points to things we ask her to.  She recognizes faces in pictures.  Chris & I gave her all our old phones.  She walks around talking on them. She always says "Hi" when you hand her a phone.

She has been a big help watering the flowers.  Her favorite part is playing in the water and mud.
