This weekend was a fun family affair. Caroline loves going to the park so we decided to load up some stale bread and head over there. Caroline is saying the word "duck" and started making the quacking sound all on her own. We feed the ducks and one aggressive goose. After that we headed to the playground part. The girl loves to swing but even more then swinging is playing in the gravel. I have been looking for a sand box around here but haven't found one yet. The dirtier she gets the better.
About half way through Nana & Papaw joined us. Papaw took her down the slide & played in the dirt with her. Nana kept her cool in the shade and made sure she drank lots of water.
On Sunday morning we gave Daddy his Father's day gifts.
For Father's Day Caroline got professional pictures done. The last time we did this she was 9 months old so it was about time. During the photo shoot the very first backdrop they dropped down was a picture of a carnival. I asked them nicely to just use solid colors because the scary clown in the background didn't seem like a good idea.

The link above has more pictures to few for a few more days.
Daddy also got season 3 of Modern Family on DVD for the plane ride overseas. Hopefully this will be enough to occupy him.
On Sunday morning we went to the early service at church. Immediately following we jetted to Denver City for Kelley's 20th birthday bash- Complete with chicken fried steak, mash potatoes, gravy, stuffed jalapeno, a layered salad and beans. Mimi made a delicious cheese cake which apparently took 3 days to make.
Caroline watched Kelley open her presents
Nana played "ride little pony" with Caroline.
Gilbert was even invited for a little while. After Caroline saw Gilbert she wanted to play with her the rest of the time. She is a very sweet kitty and let Caroline pet and squeal while she got loved on.
After lunch we had to head back to Lubbock for life group. It was a fun, busy weekend. Caroline was exhausted by the end of Sunday. It was probably why she slept till almost 9:00am this morning....
Happy Father's day to my dad and father-n-law. To my sweet husband- Caroline and I are so blessed to have you!

There is too much cuteness in this blog for me!! I can't handle how perfect she is!
