Bring on Summer!

Thursday & Friday were 1/2 days at Lubbock ISD.

School ended on Friday at 12:40 for me and officially started Summer. Technically I have to work 2 more weeks on a summer schedule at the high school but it will be to tie up lose ends & get ready for August.

Thursday, Caroline and I got to pick up Aunt Kelley at the airport from her adventures in California. While we waited Caroline got to play in the front seat of the car.  On the way to Kelly's apartment, we got to hear how fun it was and now can't wait to go out there in July. Kelley told us some funny stories about Caroline's cousins Leah and Lane. It really sounded like they had a great time. 

Friday after everything was done I picked Caroline up and we went to visit daddy at his office.   Caroline is making a game plan on how to improve sells.  She was very proud of her scribbles. 

Chris gave Lane his State Farm pedal car.  We are trying to figure out how to get it California because it is so heavy.  In the meantime Caroline Fred Flintstoned it all over the office. Don't worry Lane she took extra care turning corners.

I am so happy I survived my first year as a high school counselor.  For the record this has been my most favorite year in education.  It was challenging and so rewarding at the same time.
