Tuesday Chris and Ricky took a spur of the moment trip to Grandbury. They wanted to take Pawpaw out for a good meal. They decided on Texas de Brazil {one of Chris's favorite places to eat}.
Ricky got to Lubbock early on Tuesday morning and they hit the road. They stopped in Abilene to grab a tea. While they were there they visited Hardin Simmons. Above is Chris's old rent house, or "the Mansion" as he loving referred to it. He shared it with 5 guys so you can imagine the shape that it was in 7 years ago.
Hardin Simmons put in a really neat Alumni Wall a couple of years ago.

After their Abilene pitstop they made their way to Grandbury, picked Pawpaw up, and headed to downtown Fort Worth. They were the first customers in the building for their 5:00 PM reservations. Chris said Texas de Brazil was AMAZING as always. He tried a new cut of meat.... Pork Chops. They met his standard of approval.
Meanwhile on the home front Caroline wanted to go outside so badly. She kept rolling her stroller to the door. I tried to tell her she would melt on the pavement because it was 103 degrees outside.
She seems to think her pasty white skin can take the heat.
Chris and Ricky got home really late Tuesday night and had a really fun time!
